Is this a legal compliance course?
No. It is a practical working session run by an engineer. You leave with a usable policy, guardrails and a review process. For formal legal sign-off you would still involve counsel, and the workshop output gives them something concrete to review.
Does governance not just slow teams down?
Bad governance does. Good governance names what is allowed, so people stop guessing and start using approved tools openly. The workshop is as much about enabling safe use as restricting risky use.
